Hello Humanists & Friends!

Tonight we will be meeting at Libertalia a little earlier than usual (5pm) for Coffee & Conversation.

And next week, we are starting our biweekly book club starting Monday-and every other Monday at 7 pm at Babycakes Coffee Shop.

Vernon is hosting a biweekly book club meeting to read and discuss banned books, controversial books, and other titles pertinent to our interest (God Delusion etc)

This week's (1/11) title: Henry Miller's Tropic of Cancer. This will be followed two weeks later (1/25) by its followup Tropic of Capricorn. On March 8th, we will be discussing Dawkin's latest: The Greatest Show on Earth.

What is Humanism? & Board Elections: This month's general meeting (1/17) join us for a lecture/discussion on the philosophy of Humanism hosted by Jason. To vote for the incoming[masked] Board, you must be a member. Please visit sdhumanst.org to renew your membership.

REEL Humanism! has returned. Vernon hosts a film and discussion series relating cinema to ethical issues. On Tuesday 2/2, Join us for Schindler's List. 7pm Cafe Libertalia [masked]th Ave.) *this time is subject to become earlier due to the length of the film.?
