Meetup Description: Hear Ye Hear Ye:
Ye Olde San Diego Humanist Association shall trek far unto the land in the north called Escondido for a splendid festival.

We are going to the:

10th Annual Escondido Renaissance Festival

We are going in costume, we are speaking in Elizabethan
Show up at 8 a.m. for a scrambled egg and pancake breakfast and "Ren-ucation" by Thomas the Ship's Carpenter. Thom will teach you how to talk, walk and fit in with a crowd who's century is not terribly far off than the time-period-mindset of the religious right.

We shall meet at Thom's Place at 9 a.m. to Carpool and Caravan (unless you are closer to North County-then meet us there) - 8 a.m. for the breakfast. This is a family friendly event, complete with a kid's zone- so all of our new members who have little ones bring'em

Felicita County Park, 742 Clarence Lane, Escondido
Location: Twenty-five miles northeast of San Diego. Take I-15 north to Via Rancho Parkway exit. Go west 1 mile to Felicita Road, then north to the park entrance.

Faire hours: 10:00 A.M. to DUSK both days.

Parking $ 5.00
Admission includes all entertainment.

Parking is a short distance away and the site has many picnic tables and shaded areas. The faire site is handicap accessible. It is level and mostly grass covered. Leashed pets are welcome. No horses or large animals.

An extensive children's' play area is adjacent to the Village site.

Alcoholic beverages may not be brought in the event; however, visitors may bring food and soft drinks. All backpacks and coolers are subject to search.
