Tomorrow! Sunday Assembly San Diego will have their 4th assembly.
Sunday Assembly San Diego is a new godless community that meets monthly to hear great talks, connect for service projects, sing songs and generally celebrate life. Assemblies are free to attend, and everyone is welcome.
Tomorrow's talk is titled "Change in the Arctic: What Does it Mean for Planet Earth?", and will be presented by Dr. Patrick Abbot, professor of geology at SDSU. Following the assembly enjoy coffee, tea, cookies and new friends.
The motto, "live better, help often, and wonder more", informs every aspect of the Sunday Assembly. Since they are all about celebrating life, assemblies are designed to foster a sense of well-being and community. For more information about Sunday Assembly, check out their website.
Tomorrow's assembly at 11 am is back at where it all started, at the Balboa Park Club ballroom. Parking can get crowded mid-day, so plan to arrive early enough to take the shuttle from the nearby Navy Hospital parking lot if there are no spaces in the parking lots nearby.
