Freethought Alliance 2013 Conference (RSVPs here closed, but you can attend)

Theme 2013: "What are the goals of the Secular Community?"

We hope you can join us for the 2013 Freethought Alliance Conference, May 4th through May 5th in Anaheim with wonderful speakers: PZ Myers, Greta Christina, Matt Dillahunty, John Shook, Jessica Ahlquist and Margaret Downey.

This is the only secular conference in one of the most conservative areas in California – Orange County. There will be events all weekend long, with a Speakers Dinner and a Welcome Party on Friday, the conference on Saturday with an after-party at 10pm, a Sunday Morning Fundraising Breakfast with the speakers, and finally a field trip to Los Angeles to see the retired space shuttle Endeavor ($20 extra).

HFSD/San Diego CoR has reserved two tables for 8 people which reduces the cost to $100 each. Regular admission is now $165, $175 at the door..

For details about the optional events (dinners, breakfasts, and space shuttle field trip, see the conference website).

Roommate and Carpooling

And don't forget... May 30th through June 2nd, the American Humanist Association will be hosting their annual conference in San Diego at the Bahia Hotel.

Your organizer's refund policy for Freethought Alliance 2013 Conference (RSVPs here closed, but you can attend)

Refunds offered if:

  • the Meetup is cancelled

Additional notes: It's hard to plan this far in advance. Many decide to go at the last minute, so there will be people anxious to have a ticket at the reduced rate. As long as I have two weeks notice I will do my best to find a replacement for you - even at the event.

Payments you make go to the organizer, not to Meetup. You must make refund requests to the organizer.
