Please tell us something about yourself and your interest in Humanism.

Like many, questioned my "religion of origin" from a very young age - priests finally stopped calling on me in class and asked me to "please put [my] hand down." Explored Eastern religions, Judaism, Unitarian Universalism - then saw "Religulous" and felt comfortable with Atheism (closeted, of course). Was introduced by a friend to the recent AHA conference in SD and NEVER LOOKED BACK! The values and ethics prominent there were what I was looking for...I AM HOME!

How did you find us? Print materials, online, word-of-mouth, or...?

Wish I could remember - SOMEWHERE I saw information about the Luis Granados event in Spring 2013 and found the courage to attend - usually not much of a joiner but so glad I went.

I am home =)
