Please tell us something about yourself and your interest in Humanism.

I've been a committed atheist for some time now (about 10 years). The one thing that I've missed from my religious days was the sense of community that you experienced with other believers. The Humanist community has really evolved in the last few years to offer more of a community for a disparate group of people and has drawn us together. There are many Humanists out there, we simply didn't have a banner under which to unite.
