Please tell us something about yourself and your interest in Humanism.

I enjoy reading and learning about science, nature, history, philosophy, current events. I guess I have considered myself a humanist for a long time now but never joined with others in an organized group of any sort. But I agree--more of us need to organize to push back the tide of ignorance and fundamentalism.

How did you find us? Print materials, online, word-of-mouth, or...?

The Richard Dawkins event at Golden Hall.

I left religion over 20 years ago and am navigating my own path of strong ethics that is informed by science and reason, respect for other humans and our animal friends.
