Thanks, Dan. Maybe some of us can get together to see this movie and have a good laugh at the religious conservatives of Texas. But truthfully, this is no laughing matter. I resent the fact that these ignorant hicks can control what children in public schools all over America learn. And it's outrageous that they want to delete important historical figures such as Thomas Jefferson and Thomas Paine from the history books. Additionally, as demonstrated in that film clip, these Xtians also want to deny the contributions of people of color to the United States.

We had a speaker last summer who covered this issue in her recent book. Her name was Katherine Stewart and her book was The Good News Club: The Christian Right's Stealth Assault on America's Children. I highly recommend this book. Here is the link to the book:­
