New! Saturdays in Washington: Walk 4 Health & Humanism @Vancouver Mall, Coffee 2

  • Look for the red Meetup tabletop sign in the food court (upper level) near Brewed NorthWest coffee bar
  • It's about time! Our Washington State members have asked for more activities on their side of the river, so we'll start with our walk for health and humanism at the Westfield Vancouver Mall.

Park near the C-Tran Center bus stop on the upper level by the north entrance and meet us in the food court. Look for the red HGP tabletop sign.

Do you have a Darwin/humanism/freethought T-shirt? Remember to wear it so we can spread a little science and reason as we walk.

Plan to meet a few minutes early so we can pair up and be ready to start the walk together at 9:00 am. After about 50 minutes of walking and talking, we'll meetup for something caffeinated and to continue the conversation.

Members who can't come for the walk are invited to join us for the coffee hour at 10:00 AM. Teens, and older children with adult supervision are welcome to the walk, as are little ones in strollers.

Are you a Rabbit, Turtle, or Mollusk (those who must travel at a snail's pace)? We probably have someone in the group who can walk at your speed; if you are a Super-Humanist you may need to bring your own walking partner.

To get the Event Host's cell number in case you can't find us, email them from their member page before the activity by clicking on their icon.

All Meetup fees are paid by the Humanists of Greater Portland through your memberships; donations towards the work of HGP are greatly appreciated.

We look forward to seeing you -- bring a friend!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
