Sat WashCo Walk: Tualatin Hills Nature Park, Coffee 2! Need New Host 4 Saturdays

This may be the last Saturday walk in Washington County due to the changing schedules of your current hosts!

If you would like to see this walk continue, please step up to host if you are a member who has walked with us before, are familiar with the mall walk and the various outdoor locations visited in past weeks, and can stay for the coffee hour.

Wednesday walks will move to Tuesdays, same time: see upcoming calendar schedules for locations.

RSVPs required or meetup may be cancelled; we wait for people who have RSVPd so please cancel if you can't attend. This walk is easily accessible by train/bus.

Take a walk in the park/mall -- wear a T-shirt supporting science and reason (if you have one; available on Evolvefish.com.) We walk aerobically with like-minded friends for ~50 minutes, then finish with coffee at a nearby cafe.

This week: We return to Tualatin Hills Nature Park, where some trails are paved, wide and flat, while others are wood-chip and more challenging. We'll meet at the trailhead near the parking lot and after 50 minutes of walking, return there before carpooling to a favorite coffee/brunch venue selected by the participants.

Members who can't come for the walk are invited to join us for caffeinated conversation at 10:15 AM.

Arrive a few minutes early so we can make introductions, then start together shortly after 9:15 at our warm-up pace when we can pair up according to our walking rates. Don't forget water and a sunhat.

All ages and abilities are welcome, as are little ones in strollers. Contact the host for a cell number in case you can't find us.

Rain will send us back to the mall at Washington Square: see past SW Walk Meetups for details.

This is a joint activity with Beaverton Atheists Meetup and Secular Family Network.

We look forward to seeing you -- tell a friend!
