Take a Walk in the Park for Health and Humanism

Take Exercise Walks  while Wearing your T-shirt Supporting Science and Reason!

We walk with like-minded friends for ~50 minutes, then finish with coffee and more conversation. Meet in the parking lot at the top of the hill near the park entrance.

In Summer we walk outside in a local park. In Winter we walk in the Mall, and that is our backup plan for rainy days.

For mall-walks meet at the food court across from Seattle's Best Coffee, top floor of Clackamas Town Center; arrive a few minutes early so we group according to walking rate and then start the walk together about 9:15.

At the mall we walk before the shoppers arrive -- some do both levels, twice! All ages and abilities are welcome, as are little ones in strollers.

Contact the host for a cell number in case you can't find us.

This is a combined activity with Humanists of Greater Portland and Center for Inquiry

Other web sites have different v ersions of the Short family history. I wonder what Vancouver schools teach the kids.

I just looked up Esther Short on Wikipedia. Her claim to fame seems to have originated with some old west shennanigans by her husband.
