The Factory Farming Awareness Coalition provides a holistic overview of the impacts of industrial animal agriculture on everything from Climate Change to Social Justice. This 40 mimute presentation is a must-see for people who care about food, for people who care about people, and for people who love seeing cute animal pictures!
Katie Cantrell is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley and former president of the Berkeley Organization for Animal Advocacy. She founded the Factory Farming Awareness Coalition in 2010 to educate people about the ecological and social justice hazards of industrial meat production in the United States. Katie has delivered over 100 presentations on factory farming, and her presentation has been used as a resource by food justice activists across the United States.
