Voyage to Betterment

This coming Wed., July 3 at 6 pm, at the Opera Plaza Community Room, 601 Van Ness, San Francisco, watch a compelling documentary that is receiving rave reviews.

"Voyage to Betterment" is produced by Andrew Flacca. The film follows Dave, a bar owner who asked for help in making better food choices, and his risk of serious illnesses were significantly cut in only 30 days. The DVD contains unique experiments never captured on film and input from world-renowned doctors including Dr. David Hawkins MD, Dr. Neal Barnard MD and Dr. Colin Standish PhD.

The film's producer, Andrew Facca, spent 10 years studying research to create a healthy living guide 'Ten Principal Elements to Well-Being' in conjunction with leading doctors and healers to reduce allergies and serious illnesses, become more productive and happier.

For example, two of the men in the documentary were close to becoming diabetic, their chances of heart disease were certain if they didn’t change something, and they were overweight. This is where the 30 Day Challenge came/comes in.

This film takes the what, which you already know about, and gives you the why and how. Why would we want to make any changes and how exactly do we make them? The chapters in this documentary, or the Ten Principles of Wellness, help to guide you through different parts of life. Through your voyage to betterment.

It all happens this coming Wed., July 3 at 6 pm at the Opera Plaza Community Room, 601 Van Ness, San Francisco. Take the elevator to the first floor, then security will key you down to the mezzanine for the event.

A fifteen dollar requested donation covers the all you can eat dinner plus the movie. The Nutritionist donates her time. Funds go toward facility rental, food, transport and other costs.
