Health Week ~ 3 Events: A Movie, A Cooking Class,
and a Pot Luck!
Forks Over Knives
If you've seen it bring a friend who hasn't. If you haven't, be prepared to finally know the truth about big Pharma, the ADA, the USDA, the insurance industry, the medical profession and YOUR health, this could save your life!
"Forks Over Knives" focuses not just on the research that both of us (T.Colin Campbell Ph.d & Coldwell Esselstyn Jr., MD), have been engaged in over the last four decades, whether in China and Cornell or at the Cleveland Clinic; it also traces the journey of several Americans as they move from a lifetime of eating mostly animal-based and processed foods to a whole food plant-based diet, and the extraordinary medical results that follow. It is educational, entertaining, and literally life-saving." ~Huffington Post Review of Forks Over Knives
The idea of food as medicine is put to the test. The film utilizes state of the art 3-D graphics and rare archival footage, features leading experts on health, examines the question “why we don’t know”, and tackles the issue of diet and disease in a way that will have people talking for years.
