Hi Everyone... Just thought I would start this thread to maybe help all of our members learn a little bit more about increasing their skill and expanding their knowledge of the world of image making. These are websites that I visit for ideas, tips and inspiration when getting prepared for a shoot.

Post yours... as I'm sure eveyone has their favorites

Happy Shooting,

The top of my list is http://www.strobist.c...
I also follow their flickr stream and learn from those photos since they have all the lighting setup specs on every photo posted.

Besides B&H and Adorama here's a couple online stores I use for specialty items and resonably priced equipment... and Flashzebra has alot of hard to find acc. for flash (hotshoe and strobe) at great prices. (I am not affiliated with either) Just some info I'm passing along.

Great Find! Check these out! They are leg weights for pop up canopies but, work great as a weight for lightstands.. Just slip them over the center rod and resting on the leg supports! 5 lbs each and you can double them up if needed. Home Depot had them marked down to $22.00 I think it's a great find.
