thanks for everyone who came out. Sorry it was a little disorganized towards the end. Looks like everyone made it out in one piece, even those we "lost".

Scott:Started cramping coming down West. Thought I could plow through after a stop which I've done before but it wasn't happening.Had enough to summit Timpf but descent would have been tricky and Bald and Dunderberg real marginal at best, behind the main group.Hooked up with the group we saw at the Hut on West and walked the 3 miles to Bear Mountain and took the 3:20 back to NYC. Thanks for the ride and see you next time.

    Hi Scott,
Will there be places to fill water along the way, or do we need to bring enough for the entire trek? If so, how much would you recommend?

    June 24

    • scotthselt

there are streams along the way. of course you'll need a way to treat the water. I would bring at least three liters

      1 · June 24

  • S.O
