***FAST NIGHT HIKE, NOT FOR BEGINNERS***
We leave exactly at the start time so please try to come a few minutes early. Text me or post a comment if you are going to be late. If you fall behind during the hike, you must be prepared to finish on your own. Make sure you have a copy of the map, a headlamp, and 1 liter of water, minimum.
Going up the white trail (BR), then left on red (BB) and left on yellow (WM). Some of us may scale the face (level 4 scramble off-trail to the right of the white trail) but we will meet at the flagpole.
Total distance is 3.5 miles approx. and we expect to finish in around 2 hours. The elevation gain is almost 1400' so be prepared to climb, especially in the steep beginning.
If we are feeling up to it, we may bushwhack to Sugarloaf for the sunset, which would add another 1/2 mile and a few hundred feet of elevation gain.
Bring a copy of the map, a headlamp, snack, your favorite beverage (glass containers not recommended).
Whistling Willie's for brews and grub after the hike. Unlike these guys, you'll be smiling at Willie's: http://goo.gl/dBIPhN
