Cornelia,
Have you tried using the translator located in Dashboard. (Dashboard is located just under the Finder icon or by pressing the F12 key.)  The translator is one of the free widgets available there.  As long as you are on line you just need to type in want you want translated and pick the language you want it converted to.  I am not sure how well it handles the grammar though.

I see translators to put up on a page on a site, does anyone have experience with this? Perhaps I could make a page on our website and then translate it.
