igniteLincoln or iLinkoln is a community of digital/social-media business owners, entrepreneurs, marketers, designers and developers working to refresh the creative, technical, and professional culture of New Media endeavors in and around the East midlands area. Promoting design, technology, usability, and standards and creating a new business mind that conforms with new social-economic requirements of today in the county.
Do you feel like the county needs a new look? Interested in the latest web technologies and there power? Care about design, user experience? Want to meet informally with other designers and developers around town?
We all talk to each other via, email, iChat, messenger, twitter, blip, text, mobile, the list is endless. So here's an idea, why don't we get together in a bar, face to face and talk about, well, what ever you want really. You can make new contacts, organise collaborations, land yourself some freelance work, land yourself a job, hit on the next big idea or just have a drink before you go home.
Currently we meet every fortnight(2 weeks) 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. If you are in the Lincolnshire area and are interested in attending and/or organizing community meetings, join this group so we can keep you updated.
