I'm really sorry - I feel bad about leaving such negative comments, but I'm a regular member of several successful MeetUps so hopefully it's constructive and will thus help. 1. The keynote was really interesting, but too short and lacked elaboration (or audience participation). The Powerpoint was unreadable from more than five rows back over people's heads. 2. The mediated discussion should have been the main event (and longest part) of the evening. There were interesting people there, but the mediator was extremely poor, asking obvious and clichéd questions and the session was rushed. Only five audience questions were allowed, and they too were rushed. 3. The App demos were certainly cool, but I see Apps all day long. What I'd be more interested in is the story behind them, their development story, etc. 4. I didn't come for the social drink after, which seemed to be the main event. I came for the inside track on App development, so I left disappointed.

Really enjoyed the event - a good format of stats, demos and panel discussion.

It was excellent. Met a lot of people, lots of dynamic entrepreneurs. Will be blogging about this event on seojoblogs.com
