We are excited to have our speaker, PJ Cabrera, author of Beginning iPhone Games Development and iPhone Games Projects. The first 15 attendees will receive a free copy of PJ's Book, Beginning iPhone Games Development, published by Apress.
PJ will be giving a tutorial on how to start developing iPhone apps, and making them pop with UIKit and Cocoa 2D. Sample code and books will be provided!

Anyone else going up to iPhone Dev camp this week?
There is public parking on the street at meters, there is also hundreds of spaces available at the public library a skip and a jump down the street for a reasonable price.
I live 3 blocks away (on Euclid and Santa Monica). If I find street parking then I can let whoever contacts me first to use my parking (I have a permit). Or even block me for the duration of the event.
Some more info:
- There's no parking in the CoLoft lot after 6pm
- You don't have to pay for the metered spots after 6 pm
- The non-metered side streets typically require local parking permits after 6pm, so don't park at non-metered spots.
- Read the signs to be sure!
The Agenda of the event is as follows:
6:00pm Start and people find seats (we expect to be full, and free books provided by APress will run out fast).
6:10pm PJ Cabrera Presents on UIKit and Cocoa 2D
6:55pm PJ Opens up for questions
7:10pm PJ Closes for questions
7:15pm Wine (White, Red, and Rosé) & Cheese Provided for people to relax, enjoy themselves, and network with other iPhone folk
