Now, we welcome everyone to join this professional group, to learn, to contribute, and to enjoy great networking with OC/LA members from a diverse background. Here is a list of what consists of our group (not in any particular order):
Who we are?
1. iOS Developers (coders, programmers, publishers, analysts, testers, etc.)
2. Graphics Designers (with or without experience in mobile apps)
3. UX Experts (User Experience experts mostly in the mobile apps)
4. Non-iOS Programmers (Android, Window Mobile, and other platforms)
5. Savvy Users (love the technology, interest in testing new apps, want to learn)
6. Potential Publishers (those who want to create apps with help of other members)
7. Recruiters (those who are interested in hiring other members)
8. Enterprises (executives from corporations who want to be part of this group)

What should you expect?
1. Every 2nd Tuesday night is Carl's Night for general discussion and special topics. All questions will be answered. 2 hours long casual, professional, and great networking. (FREE)
2. Every Saturday from 8:00AM to 12:00PM for coders and business discussion. Sit and go format. Professional, casual, and very intense. Bring your MacBook. (FREE)
3. Every 3rd Tuesday night is Terrence's Night for UX/UI discussion and special topics. Focus on UX/UI and featuring experts to answer all your questions. (FREE)
4. Once per quarter a primer seminar. This seminar will last from 4 to 8 hours. Everything you want to know about iOS app development, marketing will be presented at this seminar. Although it is also FREE, there may be a nominal charge for facility rental and lunch (no more than $10 per person).
5. Once per quarter a subject seminar will be held. Subject will be announced at least 1 month ahead of the schedule. The seminar will be anywhere from 4 hours to 2 days. The cost will vary from seminar to seminar.
What are the protocol?
Yes, there is a protocol to be observed. We are a professional group, a non-profit organization, with a good reputation. So, please observe the following:
1. Always be professional, very important.
2. No Spam on message board, No email spam. No exception.
3. Sponsors are welcome, please contact the organizer first.
4. Must show a photo and register properly. It is for your protection and for members to know you.
5. When meetup at local restaurant or cafe, please order at least a drink and leave $1 tip.
6. Sign up early. Avoid no-show and take up spot as we are preparing for the logistics. Too many no shows will also be removed.
7. Learn and contribute, or contribute and learn.
8. Assume that everyone in this group are as intelligent as you are. Yes, indeed we are as intelligent as you are. :)
