Python on the Raspberry Pi

The Raspberry Pi is a very capable, inexpensive, low-power mini-computer that can fit in the palm of your hand. 

Come hang out with others who are interested in this versatile platform and share your own favorite Raspberry Pi "recipes". 

This meetup is for beginners interested in learning about Raspberry Pi & Python.  Advanced users may not find this session useful. 


* Help beginners to set up their RPis

* How to start programming with Python

* How to get simple Python program working (GUI & CLI)

* GPIO and Python with example (glow LED, repetition from "Introduction to raspberry pi")

* complex Python project. 

Event is for all ages.

AND If you already have a Pi, please feel free to bring it and show us what projects you are working on.
