Walk for Hunger: Looking for 2 Event Organizers (4/10)

Good morning PMP GIVE BACK members!
I'm looking for 2 event organizers to volunteer to coordinate the MeetUp group for the Walk for Hunger on Saturday, April 10th. The organization reached out to us and would like us to participate as a team, however the group organizers may not be available on that day. If you've been thinking about getting more involved this is your chance!

Here are some of the event details:
Schedule: Saturday, April 10, 2010
7:15 to 8:15 a.m. 5K Run Registration Adjacent to the Art Museum at entry of MLK Drive
8:00 a.m. Walk Registration Eakins Ovals, across from the Art Museum
8:30 a.m. 5K Run Kicks Off
9:30 a.m. Walk Kicks Off
11 a.m. Finish Line Celebration, Eakins Oval
Free hot dogs, beverages and other tasty snacks! Come enjoy live music, entertainment and activities for all ages!

I would like to register the group as a team for this event, but we need to confirmation of 2 event organizers. As an EO, you would need to do the following:


  • call group members who signed up to participate to confirm their attendance
  • serve as a point of contact on the day of the walk for the group
  • take pictures to post on the site!
