Re: RE: [ia-14] Urgent need for midlevel IA contractor-NYC

Some IA/IxD/UX people can dive into a problem and conceive a creative solution with a degree of elegance and grace. Others like to do six months of research, write something resembling a white paper, and then hack together some clunky wireframes in Visio. Such is the nature of our industry.

That being said, I wish this project well.

On the other hand... I'm also looking for a couple midlevel freelance interaction design / user experience types to join me within a nicely funded startup. Ideally, these fine individuals would have experience with social media and mobile platforms. Preferably also a fluency in InDesign.

I'm normally pretty cynical in regards to startups, but this is a rather interesting opportunity.

If anyone is interested, send me a direct email here, and I'll respond with more info from my actual email address.

Cheers,
-CI

Laura,
No problem. I believe we are supposed to make things easier for our clients :) and what may seem to be a complicated scenario could end up quite nicely streamlined with the patience and know how of the right people. Problem solving is part of what we do :)

BTW...dont sweat it, life happens :)
