My client in Melbourne Australia owns and operates the leading real estate and commercial property advertising sites in Australia, as well as international real estate advertising sites in Italy, Hong Kong and Luxembourg. Headquartered in Melbourne, my client delivers effective online advertising solutions through our stable of sites to help real estate agents sell or rent properties and win new listings. Currently operating 13 websites around the world, with most of the sites ranked first in their respective market, my clients multinational portfolio is visited by over *11 million unique browsers each month. Across the globe, they employ over 500 individuals who are passionate about digital media and the opportunity to deliver innovative real estate services to customers and consumers.
Currently, my client is seeking to fill 2 vital positions in the Melbourne AU headquarters. The descriptions are below and both positions include relocation and temp housing assistance and well as sponsorship and an excellent compensation package that includes base and 2 different types of bonuses. Here are the basics of the job descriptions:
Senior Product Manager:
Purpose for this team:
The Product and Marketing team drives product and marketing activities that grow revenue, ARPA and EBITDA with a focus on advertisers / paying customers. The team is accountable for strategy development and execution across key marketing levers including product management, new product development, pricing and customer marketing communications.
Primary function of the position:
Reporting to the Snr Product Manager - Commercial this position is responsible for driving the Marketing mix (product, price, place, promotion) with particular focus on the delivery of new products for paying customers.
This includes end to end roll out from technical to business execution of those products/ product suites and pricing. This position works closely with IT, Finance, Sales, Customer Service, Legal, Consumer Experience & Product Marketing and PMO to deliver and integrate fully supported products.
At this stage, the assigned products are for Commercial in Australia.
New Product Development
Oversee the development of new products (when assigned)
Conduct initial assessment of major new product idea
Build business case including end to end business plan
Develop clear roadmap for business and technical activities
Be the single point of contact for the business & technical teams during the project
Drive go to market activities for launch
Manage for 6 months post launch
Transition product management to relevant team
Deliver new product revenue, ARPA and EBITDA targets
While this role will mainly focus on new product/ projects, the Snr Product Manager will be called on to support the product team and ensure new products integrate seamlessly with the existing product set.
Assist the Snr Product Manager – Commercial
Develop and maintain the product strategy
Develop annual product plans, product roadmaps and budgets
Drive marketing mix for products (product, price, place, promotion)
o Establish business and marketing objectives for product including revenue, # of customers, customer
o Write briefs for other teams (eg customer marketing communications, sales, pricing) to execute
o Develop and maintain product specifications for assigned products
Conduct quarterly product reviews Position Profile – Senior Product Manager – Commercial
Deliver agreed product initiatives
Deliver on baseline and initiative product revenue, ARPA and EBITDA targets
Customer Marketing Strategy & Initiative prioritisation
Assist the Snr Product Manager - Commercial to develop and maintain the strategy for the Commercial Product Management team.
Support the initiative prioritsation process to feed the IT team a set of prioritised initiatives for development & execution.
Maintain a clear view of the prioritisation schedule and interdependencies.
Work with key stakeholders to get agreement on priorities
Key Skills & Experience

Art Director / Sr. Digital Designer
The Art Director will be responsible for maintaining the integrity and creativity of the
Realestate.com.au brand online. This is a hands-on position in the Experience Design team
that requires leadership, strong visual design and contribution to projects on a daily basis.
Design intelligent, inspiring web / mobile interfaces that are both uniquely creative
and easy to use
Serve as brand steward ensuring that all assets are adhering to brand standards and
overall web design best practices
Make recommendations that innovate, engage users and constantly push the brand
Manage ongoing updates and optimization of the brand style guide
Work with Lead Experience Designers to ensure cohesive brand experience across
new functionality and features
4 year degree in related field or equivalent work experience
7+ years experience in practical UX / UI design for major brands / sites
Incredible visual design skills for the web / mobile – that gets the 1px highlight
Solid understanding of UX / UI design and best practices of web and interactive
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Expert knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator
Expert knowledge of XHTML / CSS
Experience with design for iOS or Android a plus
Must be available to work on site at our offices in Richmond, VIC
