RE: [ia-14] Director of User Research and Product Development-MId Town, Manhattan

Maybe we could hear from the moderator of the list with a decision.  As a recruiter, I like to make a point of being respectful and of service.   I personally agree with Jenine and Vivek that the posts are “no harm no foul” and a service to the UX community however, that could appear self serving.  I think this issue would be better served by requesting that all responses go through the stated email of the poster in response.

…thoughts?

Agree with Jenine....Director level positions are typically filled via networking and this list serve is useful.

Information related to career opportunities is part of networking. I'm based in Philly but joined this group to connect with IAs and learn about latest developments in IA / UX arena. Therefore, understand where JF is coming from. But, it's just an email...if you don't need it...delete it..

Guys...keep posting interesting opportunities...who knows one of these days I'll move to NYC....lol!

Cheers,
V

who really logs into the meet up message board on any regular basis
anyway, aren't email lists so much more efficient?
