USER EXPERIENCE LEAD –

Required:

CONTENT STRATEGIST

We are looking for a talented content strategist to create innovative online business solutions for our clients. They will collaborate closely with our interaction designers, researchers, visual designers, and developers.

Content strategists evaluate, organize, and develop content plans for large-scale website projects. He or she will be responsible for making decisions that are true to the needs and goals of the end users, while aligning with the business objectives of our clients.

Responsibilities:
- Perform content inventory—Outline existing content and assets offered by the current site
- Prioritization of content and strategy recommendations for existing and prospective content going forward.
- Perform competitive analysis
- Participate in stakeholder interviews- determine how client goals can be accomplished through content.
- Create content programs—list of types of content and rules for its use.
- Editorial style guide—rules for copywriting for the website, advising on SEO best practices for web editors and writers.
- Analyzing and improving large-scale website taxonomies—top-level and sub-topic groupings of all content to be included on the site.
- Help clients understand how to use research findings and analytics to achieve their goals and inform design decisions.
- Identifying key audiences and translating their tasks and goals into functional website components.

Required:
- 3+ years of experience in an information architecture, research analyst, or content strategist role.
- 3+ years agency experience - Experience working with large-scale websites
- Degree in library science or experience in a similar field is a big plus!
- Experience facilitating user studies to gain user insights
- Ability to analyze research findings and synthesize findings to enhance project strategy
- Experience working with and processing qualitative and quantitative data
- Experience working with scenario development, focus groups, card sorting, ethnography, competitive analysis, and contextual inquiry
- Experience creating wireframes, sitemaps, and project documentation
- Client-facing skills—strong writing and presentation skills
- Strong communication skills- ability to promote best practices and present your solutions verbally and in writing while listening and considering team opinions.
