Have you ever contemplated creating a prototype but found yourself with a number of questions? What to prototype for usability testing ? Hi fidelity or low fidelity? How will it fit in to the process of a project? What tool should I use?
We will be discussing these and other points at our next MeetUp at CoLoft in Santa Monica.
Alexis Antonelli will present an introduction to prototyping and discuss the different types and uses of prototypes from a user experience as well as a higher-level project perspective.
Christian Sosa-Lanz will be focusing on the use of various levels of fidelity during a UT and referencing the 5 axis' of fidelity as defined in " Breaking the Fidelity Barrier". Steven Diebold will present a case study of a recent startup discussing how to prioritize the design and development of features by business value and bottom line impact using LEAN UX and how that impacts what to prototype and what prototyping and user testing methods to use.
This meetup is sponsored by Axure. Axure is the company behind Axure RP, a wireframing, prototyping, and specification tool that helps you make informed design choices, persuade any skeptics, get your design built to spec.. and maybe win a few fans along the way. Victor Hsu, co-founder of Axure and the product manager for Axure RP will be joining us from San Diego. www.axure.com

Hopefully the organizers will consider doing this meetup again since so many people will not be able to go due to overwhelming response.
Unlikely the same event will happen twice, but we are taping it. So we'll be sure to post it online and let everybody know when its available.
Excellente! That works for me.
Hi organizers, If possible, would you send out an email asking if people can reconfirm their RSVPs so that the wait listed people can may be move up?! Thank you :)
reconfirming my RSVP - coming for sure tomorrow.
Andreas
Yes, please post this online as Susan has mentioned. I have moved out of LA but would have loved to attend this in person.
Since I'm on the wait list for tonight, thought I'd post here... I'm looking to fill an IA position at Ogilvy in Culver City. I'm looking for someone with about 3 years of experience. Please email if you're interested - elana.glazer@ogivly.com. Thanks! Enjoy tonight=)
Thanks guys for a great meetup! It was nice to see all of you again - thanks to the panelists and for the food!
Was this meetup video recorded and if so, where can we view the video?
Thanks
