The Los Angeles User Experience Meetup group is partnering with a number of meetup groups and user groups in the LA area for Mobile Camp Los Angeles on Thurs., Oct. 18. As you know, our field is changing very rapidly and it's critical that UX Designers, Product Designers and Information Architects work extremely well on cross-functional teams. I urge you to attend and participate.

Sponsors include:
Adobe, BlackBerry, AT&T, Wireless Industry Partnership (WIP) and others.

Please register for the camp at The camp costs $10 for user group or meetup group members. Remember, it's an all day-long event.

There is a great lineup of speakers from Adobe, Yahoo!, Facebook, BlackBerry, Google, BLITZ, Science, Inc. and many more.

We have tracks for:

- User Interface & User Experience

- Native & Cross-Platform

- JavaScript & HTML5 Mobile Apps

- APIs, Web Services & Mobile Web

- Mobile Gaming

The goal is to make sure everyone leaves knowing more about making apps and about mobile technology in general.

The information and people were excellent. But the facility lacked organization. Rooms changed on the fly and it was hot.

Figured it out. You have to put a "0" in the donation box, or it automatically adds $10 for it.

Do you need a promotional code to get the the $10 ticket? Every time I try to purchase it, Eventbrite adds a $10 donation on top of the ticket price. Is this required?
