TechJobsLA is created for the tech community by our SoCal tech community. LA’s and OC's leading user and meetup groups have joined together to design this event as a way to help members on their career path. LA's largest Meetup groups like LA PHP, The Los Angeles User Experience Meetup, LAdobe, SoCal WordPress, and more have joined forces for this job fair!

Top companies like Adobe, Amazon, Carbon 5, Nestle, The Skool and more will have booths talking one-on-one with you as candidates! There also is lounge area where you can get career advice from the mentors involved in the event.

At the job fair, there will be several free mobile UX design and development workshops. The classes are part of MobileK.it workshop series. The seating at these classes are first come first serve, so get to Cross Campus early! You must register for tickets for TechJobsLA first.

You'll also have an opportunity to win an iPad mini in a raffle drawing* and other prizes.

I attended and thought it was a great event! Wonderful people and a huge turnout. It was my first tech-focused job fair, so I was very impressed. My only regret was that the mobile workshops were already full once I got there (that was the main reason I wanted to go).

Ditto what Glenn and Julie said! What a wonderful event. Thanks to Noel, Crystal and all the sponsors. I would also like to thank everyone who attended my workshop. The slides are online at http://www.slideshare.net/scottux/simulating-mobile-apps

I've been thinking of providing / hosting a more hands on workshop one evening at Cross Campus. If anyone is interested in diving in deeper and learning more please let me know and we'll figure out a way to make it happen.

    Have a great weekend everyone!

This was a wonderful event. Thank you to everyone involved. My favorite part was getting to hear Scott McDowell's talk on prototyping.

And if I may be bold enough, your 2nd or perhaps 3rd favorite part was winning the iPad mini? ;-)

The TechJobsLA Team and I would like to thank everyone: attendees, sponsors, volunteers, Meetup group organizers, and Cross Campus staff members for a great event this Saturday. I think it was a great success and we could not have done it without everyone's contributions. Yay! Go LA UX and software product community!

There's only 10 tickets available now out of 352 total! In addition to the iPad mini, we recently added three raffle prizes for tickets to SemiPermanent's UX workshops here in LA - normally $200 each! The iPad drawing is at 2 pm and the SemiPermanent and also 3 month Adobe Creative Cloud subscription are at 3 pm. Sorry we weren't clear: You have to have gotten a $5 ticket or signed up for the 250 free early bird tickets on Eventbrite. Then submit your resume to be in the drawing with the link Crystal provided.
