Digital Media Expert
Company with 20 years in business is seeking an exceptional User Experience Manager to lead the transformation of user interactions on our ecommerce portal and its dedicated TV micro-sites. This individual will have a strong background in user-centric design, significant experience in planning, developing and delivering UX designs for retail e-commerce websites, and proven success in improving website conversion, AOV and sales.
Primary Job Functions:
-Orchestrate and drive development and execution of UX designs, including user research, persona development, user scenario models, design concepts, wireframes, mental models, and AB/multivariate testing.
-Develop a library of UX principles that ensures user interaction consistency and best practices across e-commerce projects and web properties.
-Synthesize data from multiple sources, including business requirements, web analytics, business intelligence, competitive analyses, customer care, best practices, industry trends, technical constraints, usability studies and site heuristics to inform direction on UX designs.
-Partner with the e-commerce team to define the feature roadmap for main web site and micro-sites.
-Drive e-commerce projects through their entire project lifecycle, including requirements, specifications, design, development, QA/UAT and launch with a keen focus on quality, milestones and target dates.
-Work closely with the e-commerce team to monitor website KPIs and report on performance metrics for UX enhancements.
-3+ years of UX or IA design experience with retail e-commerce websites.
-Proven track record in delivering UX design solutions that improved conversion/AOV.
-Portfolio of UX work (including UX-specific proposals, wireframes, concepts, prototypes and finished designs) highlighting e-commerce project accomplishments.
-Beauty industry and/or luxury brand experience preferred.
-Strategic, detail-oriented, results-driven, balanced analytical and creative thinker, and highly collaborative.
-Subject matter expert in human interaction and e-commerce best practices, information architecture, and the latest internet technologies.
-Highly-motivated and self-starter with a passion for high-quality work and delivering results.
-Must thrive working in a fast-paced, timeline-driven environment.
-Experienced in using analytics and testing tools, including Google Analytics and Omniture.
-Mobile experience a plus.
-Bachelor’s degree required
