Agreed. I couldn't fathom working an unpaid internship as a software developer. I can understand people doing unpaid work to pad their portfolio, but for someone else to profit from that work? If anyone is considering an unpaid internship, maybe you should look into contributing your UX skills to an open source project instead. Those guys seriously need UX help.
