Job Summary | User Experience Visual Designer

At Edmunds, the User Experience Visual Designer plays a vital role in the success of the company and therefore must be a proven senior-level visual designer with a focus on user-centered design. The ideal candidate needs to be highly competent in a number of areas.

Communication is essential to success in this position. Individuals will work very closely with Product and Development teams and must be comfortable speaking, and occasionally presenting, in terms of business goals, technical/development issues, as well as visual design and user experience considerations.

Visual Design.
Candidates must be highly skilled in visual design and have a portfolio that illustrates this. Individuals must be immersed in current design trends and have the creativity to improve upon them.

User Experience.
User experience is paramount at Edmunds. Individuals may be involved in user-testing and must be able to translate user feedback into beautiful user interfaces.

Mastery of design software is a must. At Edmunds, we work primarily with the most recent versions of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, so the ideal candidate will have a mastery of this software at a minimum.
