After I buy I usually enter a stop loss point. If the stock drops to that point, I am gone. Automatically.

Subject: [ibd-2] When to sell TNDM?

I bought TNDM Monday and was still within the 8% sell rule when I decided to go for a jog late this morning. When I got back, I was down 12% on TNDM! Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!

(A) Should I put in a sell order now so it will execute at 6:30 AM (hah, probably more like 7AM) after TNDM has gapped down some more?

(B) Or should I wait until tomorrow morning and sell it with a market order after it has gapped down some more?

(C) Or should I get up REALLY early try to sell it in the pre-AM trading at 5:30 AM where there is not much volume and sell it with a limit order?

Yikes! I?m thinking option B myself.

Limit orders are required on those pre-AM trades and they are nasty because you don?t know if your limit was too high and your order might not go thru.
