I have a Chemical Engineering Degree from Purdue. I worked at National Semiconductor for 22 years in Arlington, Texas. After NSM Arlington plant closed in summer of 2010, I have been a self investor using the CAN-SLIM methodology.
I have been subscribing to IBD sine 1997.
I have been using the CAN-SLIM method with mixed results since 1999. I have been to several Level 1 seminars, 3 Level 2 Seminars and 3 Chart School seminars. In Texas, I was active in DFW Meetup. I am currently active in Fishers, IN Meetup and Fort Wayne Meetup groups. Last month, I joined the Naperville Meetup via the webinar.
I am very interested in improving my results using IBD and CAN-SLIM method. By attending local Meet-ups, I am interested in sharing my results (success and failures) and listening to others so that I can continue to improve my trading results.
Improve my investing results so that I can make continue to work as a self investor for my current job career.
I enjoyed your comments. I also had mixed results with CAN-SLIM
over the years so I concentrated on dividends. Until recently I did
pretty well, but now everyone is looking for yield. Your comments
brought back some things I had forgotten. Makes me want to try CAN-SLIM again.
Welcome David! I look forward to meeting you.
