6:45 Presentation - An overview of CAN SLIM investing. If you are new to IBD or new to the CAN SLIM approach, this is your chance to get a good jump start on this investment system. We will cover the CAN SLIM acronym, how to use IBD to analyze a stock's fundamental characteristics, and basic chart reading, the importance of using rules, and how emotions can impact your investing. This may also be a worthwhile review of the basics for many of our more experienced members.

Bob DanneggerI thought it was a well done intro/refresh of the CANSLIM process. The media used did a good job of displaying the material and the presenter was very knowledgeable with the process and answered all questions presented to him. The second presenter ran out of time because of the closing of the library but also presented some worthwhile info.

Gregory AlvordGood information. Liked the chart discussion. I attended the January meetup that talked about CANSLIM basics. Please move on to more substantive subjects like current market strategies in a volitile, world driven investments, or detailed discussion on volume impact. Most attendees knew about the CANSLIM method and need more meat.
