Let's alternate 400s and 800s until our legs fall off. All on 30 seconds recovery. At least, do 400, 800, 400, 800. More if you are faster. By all means ensure the 400s are faster than both halves of the 800s. You know what I mean.
Let me say this again. All on thirty seconds recovery. Thirty. That's right. We're done with the base period, and we're progressing toward more race-specific exercises. 30 seconds ... it's not a lot. Pace wisely.
