Mission Statement

The Inland Empire Vegan Meet-up Group is a community for vegans, raw foodists, vegetarians, veg-minded, and veg-curious folks looking to connect with other kindred spirits on their journey towards plant-based and compassionate living. We believe that being vegan is not just a diet, but a lifestyle, and one that encompasses respect for all living beings - and that goes with having respect with what we put into our bodies. This is an all-inclusive community and we welcome all of those who are interested in veg living, including those who don’t know how or where to begin. Whether you are a long-time vegan, raw foodist, vegetarian, veg- minded, or even veg-curious, we respect where you are on your journey and welcome you to the group! Whatever your reasons are for choosing veg, whether they be ethical, spiritual, health, personal, or environmental, we are here to support you into your growth and understanding of plant-based living by providing a sense of community and inspiration to help you foster. We organize a wide variety of events such as vegan potlucks, vegan/raw vegan food prep & cooking demonstrations, dinner outings, fundraisers, animal outreach events, circus protests, animal welfare lectures, movie nights, documentary screenings, vegan bake sales, hikes, organic gardening demonstrations, dances, nutritional lectures and more!!! It is our goal to inspire our members toward making healthier and compassionate choices when it comes to food and to creating a world where there is more love, joy, and compassion and less suffering for all inhabitants of this earth. Membership to this meet-up is free and is graciously donated by your wonderful meet-up organizers.
