I notice that not many people have responded "Yes" to this event. I'd like to get a feel for the reason, whether it be the book (this WAS the clear winner) or the date. It's just odd to see only 6 when we have 146 people, ya know?!? Please feel free to comment....
Hi Judith, We are still in the voting process for our May book. Please vote in our May poll (look under the 'More' tab at the top) by Sunday. The winning book will be announced that evening. (Humor/satire theme)
i have been so busy--but now i think i can start attending your meet ups---sorry i missed catcher in the rye--fun and interesting book to discuss--what is the may book?---i work in a book store and usually read-4-6 books a week
Books introduce us to so many new ideas and new ways of looking at things. Talking about what we read will only open our eyes to so much more. Let’s explore a variety of books covering topics all over the spectrum, books new and old, for a variety of ages. We’ll read books that make an impression, and discuss all aspects of the stories, how they apply to life, the purpose they serve. Let’s have fun with this group, laugh, share ideas, and learn something new. This group is open to all; please join us with an open-mind and be ready to share your thoughts!
