Show and Tell March 2014

It's been way too long since the last Show and Tell, so I thought it was about time we had another!

The aim of the night is for people to show off their game, concept art, tech demo, audio clips, etc to the rest of the community on a big screen. There will be roughly an hour of showcasing, surrounded by some good old fashioned mingling with beverages.

There will be 10 - 15 five minute slots available. Please contact me ASAP if you would like a spot. You can demo your game, prepare a video, some slides, or just talk about what you do - whatever works for you!

If you're trying to raise awareness about your game, are looking for employment, are looking for employees or business partners, or just curious about the upcoming talent in the local industry, then this event is probably for you!

We will be trying out a new venue - the pub underneath Broadway Shopping Centre. We will (hopefully) be using the big screen in the main section of the pub - should be quite easy to find us.

Can't wait to see you there - please contact me with any questions, or if you'd like a slot on the night: [masked]

I think it was great. Well organised, nice location, good presentation culture - no delays, everyone respected the 5-minute time slots - awesome! And of course interesting presentations and new contacts.

I have a concept I am working on and the current target is iPad, I have 36pin to AV cable but I have no guarantee that it will work. I have place holder art in the game and its really early development but if I can't explain the concept in 5 minutes with a little hand waving, I think I am sunk. I'd like to work with other people especially graphic artists. I can not afford much.

Hi Rebecca: Please look into CLUB REDFERN as a venue, and grab it before it gets discovered by everybody else. It is shiny and new, 10 meters from train, OR free parking inside or nearby, it can be FREE, it has great video screens, cheap food and drink etc etc. Victor, organizer Sydney Arthouse meetup etc[masked] PS HUGE free opening at White Rabbit gallery tonite...
