Wow, that was fun Peter... It brought back memories because I worked on the shuttle program for 7 years and the first year my job included writing the Launch Commit Criteria for the solid rocket motor, which has been known to blow up shuttles. I never saw a launch (just test firings) but did go down the day after to inspect all of the pieces that were collected from the ocean.
