SHARE events have become the flagship of Immersants meetups. I (Squiggle) will not be organising this one for once.
It promises to be more instructive and participatory than the previous ones. Of particular interest will be the custom programmed Wii controllers attached to lighting and music that anyone is entitled to play with. The people behind the following " Dusk" installation (see the video below) will explain how they made that and similar hi-tech wonders.

Here is the blurb from the organisers...
In keeping with the SHARE spirit, this is a free evening and is open to anyone who would like to be involved. What may be a little different from past SHARE Sydney events will be the focus on technology and process. Serial Space is the current home of Dorkbot and like them, we would like people to really open up about what they do and HOW they do it.
Whilst there won't be scheduled workshops or performances (at this stage), we'd like to completely remove the notion of an audience and get everyone participating - even if that's just by asking questions!

I won't stay to the end but Tim may, in which case you can call him on 0420981589
