I was able to take some classes at the University of Puerto Rico and was able to belong to a theater troupe for five years whose main goal was to experiment with different theater elements once the idea was completed it was refined and shown as a finished piece or play. Plus as a puppeteer I was taught that you can get a great result if you freestyle, so I was lucky enough to have experienced that as well
A chance to meet new people and do something that I never in my life thought I would do...Improv in english...I get the chills just thinking about it :)
* open mind * never, EVER, say NO! that is not part of an improv vocabulary * Just have fun and let go. Straight jackets are not allowed and no pulled punches! it is all in good fun!!!
I have done theater in various forms. Must of my experience is in pupeteering but I have done some professional acting too. I lived must of my life in Puerto Rico so I am very new to the area and would love to meet people who love theater like I do!
