  • I'm a California a Native and I used to ride the Trolley daily. When one of our fabulous members mentioned the CT Trolley museum I practically started doing cartwheels. I love Trolley cars!   In Focus Photography is taking a road trip to the Trolley Museum in East Haven, CT.   This group shoots the 3rd Sunday of every month, which for March happens to be St. Patrick's day.

We're looking at no less than 3 models, a MUA, and a Hairstylist for early registration at $55 by March 10th. $65 thereafter.

This shoot will require at least 5 participating photographers in order to take place.

    Model Mayhem #[masked]

Genny recently made her runway debut at Fashion Week and we loved her so much at the February shoot that we've asked her back!

    Emily Linstrom

You won't find Emily on Model Mayhem, but you will find this shape shifting beauty all over the internet. Always dramatic, the camera can't seem to get enough of her.

    Model Mayhem #771923

Seriously, I've been with this group since May and I've yet to book myself for a shoot. This time we have a hair and makeup team which means, I get to spend more time with the camera! Yay.

    Gilaldrin MM#[masked]

Giladrin does it all. American girl next door, playful soul diva. Whether it's blending in or popping out, this is definitely makeup magic.

    Hair Stylist

    Crystal Razor MM#[masked]

I wanted big hair and curls for this shoot. Crystal Razor is talented and will definitely deliver the retro look we need.

Theme will include 2 looks: One retro 1960's

For the second look, well you tell me. Should we do something Pre war? Or something off the wall?    I'm kind of thinking something like this but sitting on the train. Maybe another gal in a trench coat. Kind of cooky, pulp, noir stuff, only sexy.

Hey Rae, I know im late to the party but just wanted to drop you a note. I wont be able to make it out to CT for this event like i had hoped so ill have to catch the next one. Trolley Museum sounds like fun. question. for outdoor location shoots like this do members typically bring along portable strobist lighting gear i.e. off camera flash umbrellas, softbox's etc? . That's something ive been interested in learning.

Hi although I cannot attend this workshop. Seeing your love of trolleys which I also think would be nice, if they were still in use (the environment alone would benefit) I thought you might be interested in this link as to a view of how and why they disappeared from our landscape. Anyway the best to all.

I know the train goes there, but I'm trying to see who may want to Car Pool. It will save everyone money and stress. Once I know who is willing to drive, we can figure out who's in which car and I'll email out driving directions. The trip is 90 minutes via Car. Closer to 2 hours by train.
