Hello friends,

Well Spring is in full force and for the sake of making our meetups more interesting we have decided to
kick off this event with an evening of Unplugged music where we will present some popular Hindi songs with a Latin flavor. This is what's on the menu:

3 Guitarists (Acoustic) of which one is from Ecuador, South America
1 Conga player
5 Amazing vocalists
3 Original Acts
1 Global DJ

After acoustic music I suggest you stick around and party with us as UPROOT ANDY will by spinning the latest music from all around the world (Pan-European to world ethnic music). The DJ is really amazing and his music has got be heard!

Mehanata, better known as The Bulgarian Bar, is a popular night spot (and restaurant) in the Lower east side of Manhattan, New York City. The establishment is much more than just another Lower East Side watering hole; it is a cultural Mecca for Eastern European expatriates in New York City and promoter of Roma culture. You can also enjoy their Hookah-Bar as well as their famous Ice Cage (All you can drink vodka in minutes, dressed in Russian combat garb!!!!)

There is a municipal parking lot across the street but we recommend that you take public transportation so you don’t miss the party.
Our live program will begin at 8 and UPROOT ANDY will take over the floor at 10 pm.

      “ This live event blew the lid off other ones!! Quality singing back to back with some smooth Latin styled bollywood grooves! The Carnatic pieces backed with conga rhythms were something to be heard. Those of you that took a rain check on this event... well you missed out big time and I cannot emphasize the novelty of an event like this! When u got everyone on their feet clapping and grooving to "Parda Hai Parda" its quite obvious that even the classics can rock the club today! Thanks to all that attended and made the effort to RSVP....its u guys that enable IMM to stay on the forefront of bringing u quality live musical events. ”

Geo was great on guitar, Keny really know what to play and where to play. Its all about feel. Ashwani had done a good job through out on the guitar and plus the sound. People had enjoyed allot. Sarfraz really knows how to sing, and girl with him (sorry forgot her name ) really did good on the classical song. Was awesome. Next one was Sushil, his performance was awesome, liked the way he played guitar, and his singing was in sur. Wish I had stayed longer but had to run (stupid job) This event was a big success, was really glad to meet everyone. Mayura, thanks for calling us specially, (that really worked).
