Jersey Shore Short Film Festival (Pay Event)

"Chris J. Cullen, Rich Lello and Brian Kopack are three Jersey boys who enjoy going to events on the Jersey Shore.  After Hurricane Sandy the shore was hit very hard and many people came together to help rebuild the shore.  Though many artistic events and film festivals have left the area.  We all work in the entertainment industry in some form and we all love the art of filmmaking.  We want to bring back film festivals to the Jersey Shore and also celebrate those who are trying to break into the industry with the Short Film.  We decided to create a small intimate short film festival in the amazing area of Asbury Park, NJ to start our 1st year of the Jersey Shore Shorts Film Festival."

While not an official Central Jersey Indie Film event, the Jersey Shore Short Film Festival is an upcoming film festival in it's first year that we support for their effort to help the film community in the Jersey Shore area after the effects Superstorm Sandy.

This isn't really an official meetup as much as to help promote an event we're helping sponsor. I'll be running Room 3 across the street in the Music Lab and welcome visits between films. :) Otherwise members are going to be coming and going through the day as quite a few have films entered.

If anyone wants to do an official meetup, by all means go for it! I can't host it though as I'll need to be around Room 3 or some films might not get seen that day. :p

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
