As you may or may not already know, for the past year I have been
working as Associate Producer on a documentary called BLAST! The film
follows filmmaker Paul Devlin's brother, Mark Devlin PhD, as he leads
an international team of astrophysicists from the Arctic to the
Antarctic to launch a revolutionary telescope on a NASA high-altitude
balloon. You can watch the trailer (which I helped cut!) on our
website at http://www.blastthemovie.com
We will be screening BLAST! as part of the Imagine Science Film
Festival here in New York City on Thursday, October 23rd at the CUNY
graduate center at 7:00pm. I am very proud of the hard work that has
gone into this film, and would love it if you could come out and see
the screening. The event is free, so seating is on a first come first
served basis. I will try to hold as many seats as I can, but try to
get there 15 min early to assure seating.
Feel free to invite friends, family and colleagues to the screening -
we want to fill the theater! Let me know if you plan on coming.
Thanks so much, and hope to see you at the screening!
