Call for Crew and Locations: 48 Hour Film Project
Tuesday, May 26, 2009 11:34 PM
The weekend is quickly approaching, and with it comes the 48 Hour Film competition. There are a few things we could still use before Friday night rolls around. Take some time and see if there's anything you can do to help us out:
Locations - we have a few good locations in place, but I'd be happier
if we could get a couple others. In particular, I'd love to get a
restaurant, cafe or bar location. We will have minimal crew (10
people or so), minimal equipment (light kit, sound and a camera), and
will need the locations for at least 3 hours on Saturday May 30th.
Please scout around and contact me if you have a location you think we
Actors- if you're an actor and you haven't already, please send me
your headshot. You will need to be available all day on Saturday (May 30th) for shooting. Also include your measurements for wardrobe.
Editors - we may be in need of an additional editor on the project.
Must have experience working with Final Cut HD. It would be a big
plus if you have a laptop you can edit on. If you or someone you know
might be interested in editing the project, let me know ASAP. You need to be available all day Saturday and Sunday.
also looking to secure 2 200 Gig Hard Drives to edit from. If you can
help out, let me know.
Props/Costumes - if you haven't already, please send along a list of
props and costumes you have that we could use.
Craft Services - If anyone wants to contribute to the project by
preparing some tasty food for cast and crew during shoots, that would
be very much appreciated. Email me and let me know what you can do.
If you have any questions or ideas, please feel free to email me any time. Looking forward to working with you all!
