Our member Ron is looking for some help with a documentary shoot July 11th. See his email below. If you're interested in helping him out, DO NOT reply to this email - contact him directly at [address removed]
I am working this coming Saturday July 11th at the "Long Island Film Expo" http://liifilmexpo.org/
....Bellmore LI Theatre.
From 1-3PM, the documentary film about Re-Thinking AIDS will be screened. The film is called 'House of Numbers'http://houseofnumbers.com/http://condeve.blogspot.com/2009/04/house-of-numbers.htmlhttp://liifilmexpo.org/
I have long been familiar with much of the ideas presented in this film going back as far as 1989 when I was friends with researchers who digging into this story.
The Press person for RTA [Re-Thinking AIDS] has been in contact with me and will help in arranging interviews on the 11th with some of the key players involved with this documentary. I produce "Health Insights TV" [Cable Access Show on Long Island] and am affiliated with alternative radio as well. The assistance I need is fundamentally simple.....boom mike operator and/or someone who can operate my Pan DVX 100 from tripod while I conduct interviews. Hand held B roll shooting is also possible with my gear.
This is pretty exciting and important material and long overdue. The next wave of pandemic scare is likely to be the H1N1 fall episode and the information in this film is likely to shake up the foundational flaws of the CDC and WHO premises about contagion factors and mis-diagnosis that has caused so much unnecessary fear in Western society.
I am willing to pay for round trip LIRR train fare [if traveling from the City] to Bellmore Long Island and buy lunch. Time frame would be from around 1130AM to 430PMish. All participants would be part of my crew and would get to view this eye opening documentary at around 1
PM [only place in the tri-state area where it is being screened as far as I know at this point].
Anyone interested in helping out can contact me directly at [address removed]. Film credits will be provided and when available, a copy of DVD of completed project if requested.
